Jeff Eubank, a Kansas City musician of the mid-70s, split for LA to feel the sunshine for himself and maybe get a deal. When that didn't happen, he returned to KC to cut A Street Called Straight, channeling the sunshine and moonlight of the way-out west in his own sun-dazzled musical milieu.
